Patience

Late last evening, driven by the force of some God-sent motivation, the members of the Patchwork Caravan embarked upon a rather hectic journey to the land of The Home Depot. There, our tasks were simple, or so we thought.

Needing to purchase some crucial trailer-building materials such as plywood, 4x4s, hinges, and more, we ran into major complications when the Home Depot electric saw began to malfunction. Having arrived at The Home Depot in two small cars (driven by two of our wonderful friends,) we had a limited amount of space, for, despite the fact that we are clearly tough, construction-working girls, we do not drive tough, construction worker cars...

AND THE WOOD DID NOT FIT!

We were forced to hold off on our 4x4s, and to work the magic of the stars to fit our plywood into the cars.
Our dear friend Allison helped us to tape her trunk shut, once the boards got comfortable in the rear.

So, here are some pictures from our trip.
As much as we would have liked to document the exploration of the materials within The Home Depot, I was warned, very seriously by the security guard, that there were hundreds of video cameras mounted in the establishment, and I would be prosecuted should I try to take any pictures.

AND HEY, thanks again Noah and Allison! Where would we be without you?

Problems. Noah's trunk. Too small and full of cords, Sun Chips, miscellaneous articles of clothing.

Here we are shoving our big wood into Allison's wide trunk.
